The most important thing is to know the causes of diabetes. Diabetes is a disease in which the amount of sugar in your blood, which we call glucose, increases excessively.

Glucose actually provides energy to the body. Glucose is produced from the food we eat. Diabetes reduces the body’s supply of insulin to the pancreas. Due to which the amount of glucose in the blood starts increasing uncontrollably. This health condition is called diabetes or diabetes.

Insulin is a hormone that is secreted by the digestive gland. The job of these hormones is to produce energy from the food eaten. But diabetes hinders the production of insulin. Due to which the amount of glucose in the body increases. A sudden rise in blood glucose levels can cause many health problems. Also, if you are stressed about everything, stress is also a cause of diabetes.

Types Of Diabetes:

According to some research, men are more at risk of developing diabetes than women. There are four main types of diabetes.

Type 1 Diabetes:

In this type of diabetes, the production of insulin decreases or stops completely. Although the incidence of diabetes is low, some cases are more likely to develop diabetes. Children between the ages of 12 and 25 are usually diagnosed with diabetes. According to the Ministry of Health, India has 1 to 2 percent type 1 diabetes patients.

Type 2 Diabetes:

People with type 2 diabetes have high blood sugar levels that are difficult to control. In this type of diabetes, the body cannot produce enough insulin. People who have a BMI greater than 32 are more at risk of developing diabetes. Wrong lifestyle, improper diet and sometimes having parents with diabetes can increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

Gestational Diabetes:

Diabetes that occurs during pregnancy is called gestational diabetes. In this type of diabetes, the blood levels in the body of pregnant women rise suddenly. Actually these women do not have any type of diabetes before pregnancy. However, they may face gestational diabetes. In such a situation, blood sugar is controlled with the help of insulin. After giving birth, diabetes of these women is completely cured.

Pre Diabetes:

In this type of diabetes, the blood level in the body increases slightly but not excessively. So it does not necessarily mean that you are diabetic. But this can definitely be called as a pre-diabetes symptom. You can get rid of this diabetes by making good lifestyle changes and a balanced diet.

Do Exercise

Exercise is the best way to prevent diabetes. You should exercise at least 150 minutes a week. Aerobics, gymnastics and brisk walking are great exercises for diabetics. You can start with light exercises and then increase the intensity. Diabetics should get up and walk after every hour and a half. Also, people taking insulin should consult their doctor before any exercise.

Perfect Diet

Eat less starchy or high carbohydrate foods like bread, pasta, rice. Eat less food made from oil or ghee. Instead, add boiled and roasted foods to your diet. Avoid eating outside food. Avoid processed food or air-tight food completely. Include buttermilk, broken pulses, fruits or boiled eggs in the diet. This increases the amount of fiber in the body which leads to lower glucose levels.

Get Enough Sleep

If you want to stay away from diabetes, make sure you get enough sleep. Your body needs at least 8 hours of sleep a day. So it is very important to get it. Also, don’t stay up late at night for no reason.

Don’t Smoke

Smoking is harmful to your body. But did you know? It can also result in you developing diabetes. Smoking increases your risk of developing diabetes by increasing the amount of kapha dosha in your body.

Lose weight

The more you weigh, the more your body is at risk of developing diabetes. So, when you realize that you have gained weight, focus on reducing your weight as soon as possible. Also, excessive stress also increases weight. So try to stay away from stress as much as possible.

Drink Enough Water

Water is very essential to keep your body hydrated. Also, if you are suffering from diabetes, you are constantly thirsty. So if you don’t want this to happen, drink as much water as your body needs throughout the day.

Avoid Stress

Anxiety and worry are major triggers of increased glucose levels in your body. Try to stay away from stress for this. When the amount of stress increases, the production of cortisol hormones in your body also increases. This hormone interferes with the action of insulin in your body. This causes your blood sugar to rise suddenly. For this, do regular physical activities like yoga, dance which will keep your body and mind healthy. Stay happy to prevent diabetes.

High Fiber Diet

If you want to stay away from diabetes, you should always follow a high fiber diet. So you can stay away from diabetes.

Optimize Vitamin-D Levels

Increase your vitamin D levels. So that you can fight diabetes properly.

Avoid Processed Foods

Processed foods are high in fat. So you should avoid eating such foods. Gaining fat increases your thickness and increases your risk of diabetes.

Amla Juice

Amla is a good medicine for diabetes. To reduce diabetes you need to mix 2 grams of turmeric powder in 10 grams of amla juice. Mix it and drink this mixture twice a day. This keeps blood sugar under control.

Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seeds are known as an excellent medicine for diabetes. Soak one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in a glass of water overnight. Drink this water on an empty stomach after waking up in the morning. This keeps your blood sugar under control. Benefits of eating fenugreek seeds.

Cinnamon

Consume at least one gram of cinnamon in your food every day for a month. Eating cinnamon in your daily meal will lower your blood sugar levels. It will also help you control your weight.

Bassil (Tulsi)

Tulsi leaves have antioxidant properties. Hence these tulsi leaves are helpful for insulin. If you eat two to three leaves of tulsi daily on an empty stomach or drink one spoon of tulsi juice daily, it helps in reducing your diabetes.

Gulvel

Gulvel is a good and excellent remedy for diabetes. Gulvela has great potential to reduce your diabetes. If you drink one spoon of Gulvela powder in a glass of water every morning on an empty stomach, you will see the results quickly.

Hot water

You might be surprised to read this. But hot water is also a good remedy. After waking up in the morning, drinking about two glasses of hot water on an empty stomach or every one to two hours, even if you continue to drink hot water, can help lower your blood sugar levels.

Bitter Gourd

Carrot juice is considered to be the best treatment for diabetes. Although this juice is very bitter, it is very helpful for diabetics. Drinking a glass of this bitter gourd juice every morning will keep your body sugar under control.

Green Tea

Green tea has antioxidant properties. This helps in reducing the amount of sugar in the body and keeping its levels under control. So drink green tea at least once a day. It also helps in weight loss.

Banana Leaf

Patients suffering from diabetes should be given two teaspoons of Neem juice mixed with four teaspoons of banana leaf juice on a regular basis.

Cloves

Although cloves are a type of spice, they are useful for diabetes. If you eat a clove bud daily, it helps you to control diabetes.

Neem

Neem has anti-diabetic properties. So Neem is a good remedy for diabetics. Even if you chew Neem leaves daily, your blood sugar will remain under control.

Flax Seeds

Flax seeds are actually a cure for many ailments. These seeds you bite every day. So you can benefit more.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is also a plant that is a single medicine for many ailments. Aloe vera gel is beneficial for diabetes.

Curry Leaves

Mustard contains bitterness which is anti-diabetic. So if you eat bitter gourd leaves every day, you will benefit from it. It helps in controlling the sugar in the body.
